Ahmed qualified as a dentist in 1999 and completed his orthodontic speciality training at the University of Glasgow.
While studying for his PhD, he worked as a clinical lecturer in orthodontics at the University of Glasgow.
In 2014, he moved to south east England where he currently works as a clinical lecturer and orthodontist in The Royal London Queen Mary University and East Kent University Hospitals.
He is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy and involved in training postgraduate students. His research interest is related to effectiveness and acceleration of orthodontic treatment. He is continuously publishing in high impact scientific journals and presents his work in international conferences.
Ahmed is a consultant and specialist orthodontist. When not working at H Williams and Associates Ahmed is a Senior lecturer at a University.
What Ahmed enjoys most is working in H Williams & Associates practice is treating children as well as adults with patient centred approach and applying evidence based orthodontics.
