Sarah Ide BDS (Lond) MSc (AesthDent) MFGDP(UK)
Sarah qualified from Guy's in 1992. This was followed by a year working as a Hospital Resident gaining further experience and enhanced skills in children's dentistry and oral surgery. Sarah then undertook further postgraduate training and gained a wide range of experience over 5 years before joining the practice in 1997.
Sarah is a member of the British Society of Restorative Dentistry, has maintained her additional skills and supplemented them with training in modern advanced techniques for root canal treatment and cosmetic treatment.
She has recently been awarded her Master’s degree with Merit in Aesthetic Dentistry following 3 years of study on the highly regarded programme at King’s College London, ranked as the top Dental School in the country. Her studies included intensive theoretical teaching, research and hands-on technical training at the specialist Londec centre in London, supplemented by the submission and assessment of complex cases treated at the practice. She has also been awarded the MFGDP by the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
She regularly attends professional courses to maintain up to date knowledge in all aspects of dental care, and continues to have a special interest and experience in oral surgery and in children's dentistry.
Sarah is able to offer early morning or late evening appointments and is committed to providing predictable, high quality treatment focusing on the needs of individual patients.
She has lived locally for 21 years and as an active member of the local community has built a long standing relationship with many of her many patients at the practice. This has allowed her to provide effective, long term dental care for the whole family.
Sarah has an active family life with two children, and enjoys music and keeping fit.
